These are the best groundhandling exercises for paragliders

Today we will go through the basics of groundhandling, therefore we will practice four basic exercises. Following the rule that success means to do something in the right way, three times in a row. Not just to do it three times, but to do it three times in a row. This is the rule that Andre Bandarra has decided to apply when practicing his groundhandling skills. If you’re pulling up, for example, you would need to hold it for 30 seconds, to call it successful. But this is more part of a challenge, of which we will talk about later on in this article.

Let’s stick to our scope for now. Below we will explore some basic exercises for groundhandling:

1) Pull Up

When pulling up as a ground handling exercise, it is important to mostly use your arms, rather than your whole body. This will give more flexibility and will ease your movements. It’s not going to be easy, but it’s not even the hardest.

2) Kill It

On the opposite side of pulling up, there’s a great challenge when it comes to wrap up the game and cut it off. You have to be way more delicate and careful because it’s not easy end it up as correctly as you should. Make sure not to underestimate this exercise. It sounds like less relevant, but it’s not. Check out our friend Andre succeeding on it three times in a row.

The third best ground handling exercise is about keeping it overhead and the fourth is about walking forward.
